This step-by-step will help you knock up your first bag of dirt. Cleanliness is key to ensuring your success. Please review all instructions before starting the process.

What you'll need:
-
Everybody's Mushrooms All-In-One Grow Bag
-
10 ml of liquid inoculant
-
70% isopropyl alcohol
-
Paper towels
-
Powderless Disposable gloves (Nitrile brand recommended)
-
Lighter or Torch

Take it to the next level:
-
Still Airbox (SAB)
-
Laminar Flow Hood (LFH)
01
Prep your space
While wearing gloves, wipe your workstation down with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Remove the bag from the box and wipe all surfaces off the back with 70% isopropyl alcohol as well.
02
Prep your incoculate
Depending on the source of your inoculation, the following instructions may vary.

Before unpacking your syringe, wipe down the packaging it arrived in with 70% isopropyl alcohol.
After unpacking, wipe down the syringe with 70% isopropyl alcohol.
Attach the needle to the end of the syringe.
Use a flame (e.g., a lighter or touch) to heat up the needle until it is red. It should only take a few seconds.
Allow 30-60 seconds for the needle to cool.
03
Stab the bag
Don't actually stab the bag... stab the injection port.

If you are not working with a still box or laminar flow hood, wipe down the injection port one last time with 70% isopropyl alcohol before injection.
With your prepped needle, poke through the grey injection port and empty the needle into the bag.

04
Wait, what am I supposed to do now?
You got it, wait.

Depending on your genetics, your bag might prefer specific temperature ranges. Also, all genetics have different timelines for their process. Generally speaking, in 2-3 weeks, your bag should be 20-50% colonized.

04
Fruiting
Fruiting relies entirely on the type of genetics you inoculated the bag with.

05
Is it ready?
Once your bag is more than a third colonized, break up the mass of mycelium without opening it to help redistribute it thoroughly. This will help the bag finish colonizing much faster.
